Being Depressed Can Lead to Poverty

Depression is a treatable illness but if left untreated the risk is greater that the person will not only end up in poverty but try to harm themselves.

Sometimes depression can lead to poverty, but it’s also common for poverty to lead to depression. Which came first becomes irrelevant for the person suffering from both and what can be done about it becomes the more pressing issue.

They offer free educational guides, monitoring tools, resources, advice and information. Their purpose is to help families recognize and manage depression and mood disorders. They also strive to remove the stigma associated with depressive disorders and their goal is to help families heal that are coping with depression.
